Delete your Circl account

You are in control of your account and your personal data. How deletion works in Circl 1. You request deletion in your account settings and confirm your choice. 2. The account is closed immediately. You are signed out on all devices and cannot use Circl. 3. You have 24 hours to change your mind. Sign in again and choose Restore my account. 4. Once 24 hours have passed the account is permanently deleted. This cannot be undone. What is permanently deleted Your profile and personal data, contact details, address and home area, location data and presence, your contacts and contact requests, your settings, notification preferences and registered devices, and your profile photos. What remains Content you shared with others remains so that other people's context is not destroyed: memories, openings, invitations, channels, channel posts, threads, comments and messages. It is shown without your name and without your profile. Certain information may need to be retained for a limited period where required by law or necessary for purposes such as security, fraud prevention or legal claims. Accounts removed by Circl Circl may remove an account in some cases, for example after serious or repeated breaches of the terms. The same permanent deletion of personal data applies.
